Iona live at Spoor 7 music festival - Feb 19 1994, Hattem, The Netherlands
This was a Dutch FM Broadcast.
It was taped on a C60: Maxell XL II S60 by angelo_ks in Belgium. The Show and Sound Quality are EXCELLENT!
OU: I transfered it to my MAC using a single well Sony KA1ESA and used Peak to track it and for fades. I didn't use Dolby for playback. I don't like the loss of Highs with Dolby. I don't know if Dolby was used to record it originally. I don't think so, due to the unusually small amount of hiss.

Iona??? Woooo Hooooooo!!!! I never thought I would find an Iona show. They are an incredible band. Their official live ablum is well worth the hunt.
I never heard of her but stumbled upon this on a friends torrent site. I saw "excellent" and "FM" so I thought I'd give it a listen.
I really found that I like it but more for the "feeling" that it projects opposed to the music in and of itself.
I still say the style is hard to describe.

Iona's the band (she - the lead singer - is called Joanne!) For those who haven't heard them they play a sort of atmospheric folk prog. There are some songs but also longer instrumentals.

Thank you SO MUCH for this! IONA is a fantsatic band, especially live. They have 3 official live CDs, an official live DVD, and additional some live stuff on an official documentary DVD, but it is so hard to find anything else. Other shows I've been looking for are 07/??/97 Cornerstone Music Festival Bushnell IL,
