Comments By The Uploader: This is probably the single, most exciting live document we have of the early Mahogany Rush sound, unlike anything else such as a live concert because this ISN'T a Live concert,it's an in-studio Jam session that supposedly went on for some FIVE-SIX HOURS!
What we have here is nearly THREE HOURS of in the studio, free for all, do what ever you want, band jamming with no real set lists, just jamming. I've never heard anything else like it!
And although the sound quality is not stellar, it is quite listenable, despite the occaisional draw backs such as a few drop outs here and there (so what) the over-all sound volume may fluctate now and then (no biggee) and even sound background noise that sounds like bleed-thru from another radio station that got pulled in, (but only sometimes...you have to listen carefully).
The over-all music sensation is at times HEAVY DUTY PSYCHEDELIC Guitar,completely unlike his later material but can also be considered (somewhat)dated sounding, but hey, this is 1973 and these were VERY DIFFERENT TIMES!
The in-between song banter between the band members and the guy hosting the show(Bill), is quite hilarious at times and gives the session an upbeat, party atmosphere, like you wish you were there...or you wish you had the other THREE HOURS!!!
