OU Notes: Attended a medical meeting and had the opportunity to go to the show. The event was really wonderful.
As usual with any event that involved pop stars involves young people, screaming and talking.
It is noticable in some parts but not too distracting.
I felt Coldplay and Brunoi Mars were the highlights of the night. The crowd went crazy over Jay-Z.
My recorder, for some unknown reason, stopped recording midway through Jay-Z's set (I recorded about 3-4 songs of his set).
First song of Kelly Clarkson's was cut due to a serious need for a bathroom break. Otherwise complete concert. Feel free to share, convert and remaster to your liking. Do NOT sell! I hope you enjoy. Bill

OU Notes: Shortly after this show happened, someone posted on the old Xiola.org board that they had it and were offering B&P's. Even though I got a copy of it then, I later acquired this version through a trade with someone else. I can't remember his name, but I want to say he lived in Oregon. This second version includes the soundcheck and that is what is being shared here. Both the show and the soundcheck quality are Excellent. Thanks again to the taper.
I always assumed the soundcheck was the same source as the show, but now listening to it, I'm pretty sure I was wrong. I asked the taper recently and he wasn't even sure if he did the soundcheck. In fact, the soundcheck sounds so good it's hard to tell whether it's an audience or maybe a scanner source.

Album Notes: The photo in the center of this disc's cover was taken from Rolling Stone Magazine, and is the same picture used for the cover of Perry Farrell's Rev album.
This show is pretty common, it is the professionally recorded 1990 show from Milan Italy which had both professional audio and video taping for MTV Italy. Therefore the recording quality on this disc is quite high.
The video of this show (which I do not have) shows just how amusing the performance is. There is some interesting chatter with the crowd, and at one point, Perry accidentally starts singing into the microphone stand, instead of the microphone itself.
