RECORDING NOTES: OUTSTANDING FM recording. While this show was a great transfer to begin with, I felt it could use just a slight tweaking, due a few spots where the sound was getting clipped and some of the track points were after the song had begun. So I rebuilt the entire show in CoolEdit and isolated 3 different spots where the recording was getting clipped and reduced them down to the average of the entire recording. I now felt that the show had room to breath and then normalized both channels of the entire show to 98%. I then opened it up in CDWave to retrack all the cue points. There are 2 fades in the recording: One between tracks 9 & 10, where it was split for 2 discs and again between tracks 13 & 14.
I feel that this is an improvement but I would only call it a "slight" remaster. Thanks to "babybreese" for the original transfer! Enjoy!

OU: In short, Sarah McLachlan wanted to take a different approach from using conventional openers & incorporated them into her main set. The show was roughly 2 and a half hours (not counting the 25 minute intermission between acts) and was quite enjoyable. Butterfly Boucher & Melissa McClelland's songs were very strong and Sarah looked and sounded great playing w/ them. Sarah's band was still the mainstay, using the 2 "friends" for occasional background vocals and instrumentation (ie: Butterfly played bass for the entire set).
Regarding the recording, I did adjust volume levels throughout due to loud clapping and quieter songs. It should not be too noticeable, but you will want to raise the volume during the question and answer portions of the show. I did bring those up by 3+db, but did not want to make too much of a difference from the speaking between songs during the rest of the show.
This was my first time seeing Sarah & she was nothing short of incredible live.
