OU: The last hurrah for the Screaming Trees was a batch of new songs that were shopped to labels in 1998 and again in 2000 before they finally called it a day.
Seven of those songs circulate, though most commonly as MP3s. These five songs come from the lineage noted above and should be the best available source for this material. The other two songs were on the original demo CD the band was shopping so unfortunately they cannot be included here as there is no lossless version in circulation.
But I do hope this is an upgrade for some. I find these songs every bit as compelling as the material on Dust or Sweet Oblivion. -Butterking for JEMS
