Here's my (OU's) original notes:
Ok here's another 1978 show that I have, and as far as I can tell this hasn't been on here before and it's another little beauty.
It is a radio broadcast (QFM96) from a show at the Veterans Memorial Coliseum Columbus on 10th September 1978.
Sound Quality for an FM broadcast isn't top top notch but its still excellent. There's some ape hiss but your ears do get used to it.
Compared to the others I've shared recently this is 8.5/10 or EX. Hopefully this is another show which will be rebroadcast at some stage down the line. Or perhaps the band could produce a boxed set of all their radio shows. I know the heavily bootleged Atlantic recording
studios gig in 1977 finally received the full official release treatment in the excellent boxed set "Bonfire". Hopefully some of the stuff I and others have shared recently one day might see the light of day.
A remastered "If Want Blood" Album would be a start with the missing tracks Dog Eat Dog, and Fling Thing (before Rocker) Anyway I digress, not much to add I hope you enjoy these vintage Bonn Scott era shows.
I'm really into the recent shows including this one which have Dog Eat Dog, Gone Shootin and Rock n Roll Damnation in the set list. They are fast becoming my new favourites.
My thanks go out to those that have made this show available. This is from a cdr I have entitled "Rarities V11". It would be great if someone has a copy of the original Master tapes which they could share.

Notes for this version
Well I received this last week and I just about managed to create a cd for the car just in time for a short holiday to see friends, and boy what a seriously good version this is.
It has a fuller sounder and is just infinitely better than that previous version.
I think this is from a reletively recent rebroadcast on QFM 96 and it is quite frankly stunning in sound quality.
Doesn't get better than this. Trust me when I say throw previous versions away grab this you won't be dissappointed.
Easily 10/10 and easily Sup.
Share freely but never sell. Don't encode to MP3 unless for personal use. As always support the band by buying their merchandise, and take in a show or two. Enjoy, Paul.

AC/DC: The Haymarket 1977 (Pre-FM) FLAC

1977-01-30 The Haymarket Two Source Matrix PRE-FM Broadcast From The Recent Re-Broadcast But With No Radio Adverts)

OU: Dirty Deeds is I think from the roio "Ride On Bon" but I'm not 100% sure. The rest is definitely from a pre-broadcast version of the 2007 radio broadcast. The key there's no ads which makes this far better on the ear.

I would call the 1st part a MUST-HAVE due to its rarity. The other is a better -than-most presentation of Towson.

The track breaks are kind of weird in that the songs don't start until about 10-15 seconds into the track, but it doesn't bother me at all. The show itself is fantastic and Brian is in fine vocal form here. People always knock this album (Fly On The Wall) but I always liked it.
Plus this is one of the very few soundboards from the Brian Johnson years, and the sound quality on this one is 10 times better than most of the others.
I've included some artwork that I downloaded for a version of this show called "Fly On Tour" which is not what I was told this one is, but the songs and track numbers match up. Get this one now and enjoy!

The show opened with a train cartoon flashing over the big screens that ended with a huge live locomotive blasting through the set followed by the track Rock 'N Roll Train from 2008's Black Ice.
Brian Johnson took a running leap to ring the bell at the start of Hells Bells
inflated 'Rosie' burst out over and on the train engine during Whole Lotta Rosie
During "The Jack" Angus dismantled his famed uniform:
A tie, jacket, shorts, pasty white legs, white socks and black shoes.
But when he pulled down his shorts, he revealed only his AC/DC boxers, stopping short of mooning the audience as he's done in the past.
During "Let There Be Rock," at the end of AC/DC's main set, guitarist Angus Young sprinted down the catwalk to a small circular stage near the middle of the arena. As the stage rose, Young threw himself to the floor, playing his solo while frantically kicking his legs. He later moved to the back of the stage up, behind Phil to finish.
Angus breaking out the devil horns for Highway To Hell and For Those About To Rock.
