Some techincal notes: OU copy of this radio broadcast was marred by some overmodulated bass. It wasn't that someone made a distorted recording as much as it was that the bass and drums were way too loud in the mix. Multiple eq passes were used to lower the most offending frequencies, then to lower the bass in general, while boosting the highs and midrange.
Hiss was also reduced, but not from any portion of the recorded music. - rather, the place was used where the recording stopped but the tape heads were still activated .

Lineage: Trade cassette ->Sound Forge 6.0 ->multiple eq passes ->NR using "dead space" sampling ->FLAC via Flac Frontend, level 6, sectors aligned and verified.

(OU) GIG INFO: Listen up you Simple Minds fans, I did NOT edited this gig, it DOES have the DJ blabbering at the end of some songs and station IDs. But I did cut off all crap like traffic warnings and even the latest sport news. Songs are complete and the host didn't talked into the songs, but over the audience in-between some of the songs. So you'll notice when I added some crossfades to get rid of the most nonsense, that's the way it was aired ~
This gig was broadcasted by northern german station NDR2 at 7th September 2009, they will also show it on NDR TV at the 25th September, maybe the full gig of plus 90 minutes - in case you want to record it!

I also obtained and included some excellent hi-res (3100X2000!) photos for you so that you could make artwork if desired. -Dave
