If you happened to be at a juke joint in the mississippi delta in the 30's, this is what the live entertainment would have shounded like. Son House was a major early player in the early delta blues scene.

Son House was THE influence for Muddy.
Cant remember how or where I discovered Son House but he blew my socks off and I never felt like putting them back.
