Fantastic! Lynyrd Skynyrd, one of my favorite groups, by Lapinski.

Thanks for not holding back on this one.

Wow! Thank You Dave!!

This show is special to me because 1) I've never heard it previously, and 2) I've been to the Cape Cod Coliseum a few times back in the day before it was torn down - saw Foreigner and Walter Egan there among a couple others. It really was a crappy place to see a band. The place was made of concrete and got extremely hot like an oven (people commonly referred to it as a sweatbox), seating was General Admission (no assigned seats) so you had to get there early, and the acoustics were bad. Still, it was a popular place to go and a lot of bands played there in the summer. I was 16 when this concert was performed and was not there for it so it's an especially nice treat to be able to hear it after all these years. Thank you again for sharing it, Dave!

Thanks for sharing such treasure. Too bad there are not enough of the Pre-77 Skynyrd shows out there. What a fine find!

Just listened to the first song. This is kick ass Southern Rock at it's best! Wow!

My previous post was in error in that the Cape Cod Coliseum was not torn down but rather became a warehouse for business and is no longer a venue for shows.

However, it is located in South Yarmouth, MA which is a town on Cape Cod. The way this show is labeled it appears that the town/city is called Cape Cod. There are many cities/towns which are located on Cape Cod. Just wanted to clear this up.
