I got this in a tree from the Kinks list, reportedly copied from a commercial bootleg CD. The Kinks made many appearances on BBC radio and TV. When material was being collected for their legitimate BBC Sessions CD a huge amount of tapes were reviewed. Artwork is included (two jpg scans for the jewelcase and one pdf file for the 8-page booklet insert.

Why does everybody go on about what a great, giving, generous guy Dave is?
(1) He doesn't atually come over and put the CDs in my player!
(2) I have a dead HP laying next to my desk full of great music ala' Dave (gotta try and fix that hard drive), he doesn't carry it to the recycle place for me! :-)

Can I make a humble suggestion?
I do wish when people wrote dates for boots they would write YYYY-MM-DD. This avoids the confusion over whether 9/11 is 9 November (European) or September 11 (US). Moreover it is neutral, upsetting neither party.
The only reason I know "You Really Got Me (Playhouse Theatre 9-7-64)" is September not July is because, fortuitously, there are other dates where it is clear.
I know this will come off as an ungrateful moan so I apologise in advance for that.

If you have downloaded the great BBC 60s discs, there is a story about the Kinks playing on stage, as relayed by Yardbirds, that is both horrifying and hysterically funny. Regards Dave Davies and the then Kinks drummer.
