Circumstances have made it so that I will no longer post on this blog site. The good news is that I am posting on a brand new site below:

I am in the hurried process of exporting this blog to the new one before this one gets shut down but it will probably take a couple of days.
The new blog is a bit of a WORK IN PROGRESS but it is functional. It is also searchable and will have better tagging!
My goal is to continue to post tons of boots and yet maintain quality and the personal touch.
I have singlehandedly posted over 6700 boots as a labor of love.
Allow me to thank you for over 9 MILLION page views (and the other kind things that you have done for me).

Let me be the first to say... what? They are at it again eh. Well, you can be sure that I will be there on the new site every day checking out the new listings. I just love when you share other interesting things also, such as, pictures, jokes, etc.

I use Firefox 12.0, and the new site doesnt appear to work there; it's fine with my backup browser (IE8).

PS i know you have uploaded stuff by Jars Of Clay, but have you ever found anything by Delirious? ? I have a few gigs in mp3 but only one flac... Saw them live a few times Shame they caled it quits in 2009. Though the amazing Martin Smith has just released some new music.

Good luck with the quick move, and with whatever it was that made it necessary. You have truly made a difference to the 'community' with this site, and I am sure the new site will continue the legacy. Your work has been a major boon to the dispersion and preservation of an extraordinary legacy of recorded music, music which has no 'commercial' home and is thus in some danger of being lost as the years go on. However, the technology and the work of people like you have changed the game in important ways, opening up this world to a far wider group of people across the world. In spite of the tendency by some, including myself at times, to think that most of today's popular music cannot touch the best of the past, the reality is that there has never been such a great time to be a music fan. We are the heirs to an embarrassment of riches.

Thank you so much Dave for all that you do making your blog the absolute best out there. I have the new link bookmarked and it looks every bit as fantastic as the old site. Yours is the only blog that I do go to every day because there is always something new and exciting to check out. Your selection of posts is the most vast and varied that I have ever seen and it always appeals to my eclectic taste in music. Thank you again...YOU ROCK!!!
To the anon that mentioned it not working with the latest Firefox. Firefox has always been my browser of choice and the new site works perfectly with it, not sure what's going on there.

I was lazy on signing in (hence the anonymous post), but I did want to put in my 2 cents.
Thank you kindly for all of your hard work giving us all of these great bootlegs. You have particularly helped my fix for Rush, Megadeth, and Jethro Tull - some of my favorite bands of all time, as well as providing for not just people like me, but all kinds of music lovers everywhere, and I wish you the best with your new blog.
