Hilarious that Joe opens the set by informing the crowd that the band will be selling cheap gasoline from the side of the stage for 50 cents a gallon. This was, I guess, during one of those gas price spikes. It was even around then that they were rationing, wasn't it? You could only buy it every other day, and couldn't fill up the tank when you did.
Anyway, they always had something topical to say, even if they didn't really offer a coherent political philosophy, although it seemed at the time like they might have.
