I went to Ireland for the first time to visit my girlfriend on 10th March 2006. Because of that I missed Gilmour's shows in Germany but few days before departure I found Roger will be in Ireland on June! Of course, I bought two tickets, flew back to Poland after 2 weeks of stay and waited for June. I passed last exam on my studies on 27th June and next day I have a flight to Cork. Oh, and 29th of June is my name-day! What a name-day party I got from Roger!
The show was like a picnic. Security were checking only tickets at the gates, didn't mind what you got in your pockets and bags. The aroma of marijuana was all around that big circus tent. Being there a little late, hopefully Waters was late too. Me and my girlfriend bought some Fries and Budweisers, also a lovely cap, T-shirt, and 2 tourbooks (bought 2nd by mistake) and we took our place in front of the board. With beer in one hand and fries in the other I had some problems with turning on my gear.
Overall it's almost excellent quality, especially when you turn on your equalizer (use any kind of "heavy" presets). There are some screams, sings, whistles, talks and other things made by drunken Irish fans.
Oh, and we have Nick Mason on drums. And a power failure (I can't remeber when it happened previously in Floyd's history - Pink Floyd in Helsinki 1989 and Pepperland 1970?).
I forgot to turn on minidisc right after the break is end (this is my third time taping), so intro to "Leaving Beirut" is cut a little.
