The tape sounds pretty good for something of this vintage, and hats off to Frank for his efforts on this one.
This show features one of the stints of the band with Gary Moore on guitar alongside Scott Gorham, and it sounds to my ears like Gary is all over this recording, adding all sorts of lead guitar flurries after Phil's vocal lines, as well as going for broke in his solos. Did Gary use a strat with a whammy bar back then??? He sounds at times like he is doing whammy bar divebombs.

I would like to take this time to say THANK YOU for all of the AEROSMITH posts. I can't even tell you how much I have enjoyed listening to these shows man. They have brought me much joy and will for a really long time.

There are a lot of pictures of Gary Moore with Charvel strats and such from the period of Black Rose and into the early years of his solo career, so yes, he was no stranger to the whammy bar.
Nice show - much better sound than any other Moore-era live recording I've found so far. There are a couple from the UK tour (Glascow and the Guild Hall Preston) that sound like they were recorded underwater. Bravo for Pennsylvania!
