ALD (assisted listening device) soundboard recordings are usually knocked for their "thin" sound quality (high amount of treble, not enough bass), but I don't think that's a real issue here at all. As such, Jim's files have been unaltered for sound quality (i.e., no EQ performed)--if some of you prefer to have more bass in your ALD recordings, I'll let you do your own EQ work since it then becomes a matter of personal taste. As for me, I think the show sounds great, as-is.

Heck yeah man, I've been hoping for some Rundgren boots here -- thanks and please keep 'em coming! One of my top 10 artists. Can't wait to hear this one.

I don't know but man, this collection rocks. Sound is A+. To+d is my fav, although during this particular period he made lots of unforced errors due to imbibing (getting Hella erts Me, wrong??). Anyway, great music, and equally awesome sound.

This remains one of my very favorite boots I have gotten from this site... got it when it was posted and have listened countless times since then. Thanks Dave - your influence and generosity rolls on long after each post!
looks like my previous comment is gone? Anyway some of the Rapidshare files are gone, due to inactivity. This is a well recorded tragedy. Todd was drinking heavily, and the mistakes in this show are numerous. In LA he made 5 mistakes during the opening number, Love of the Common Man. We saw this show in LA, and left after 5 songs. I've seen Todd 20 times, and love Todd, but go see him NOW! Rehearsed, sober, and talented (see Norwegian Wood video, or Todd's Johnson, perfect!). This period here deserves to be forgotten.
