Producers remarks: An excellent audience recording from the Boston Gardens in Boston, MA on June 27, 1977. Taken from the master tapes and digitally remastered. This is an excellent and incredibly airy recording. It really captures the live Animals tour very well. The atmosphere is nearly perfect, the crowd is reasonably well behaved for a Floyd show, and the instruments come through clearly. Initially it is a little compressed sounding, but really brightens up by the end of the first song. There is virtually no hiss to be found anywhere on this recording, it is as clean as they come. Highly recommendable to any Floyd fan.

Anybody have an opinion on how this compares to the first night of Oakland?
Have not heard this version yet, but my cassette version from pied piper purchased in about 79 or so seems to have a seldom heard version of SOYCD VI-X. The taper gets harassed from a bouncer and the amazing part is the band blows away the dialog between taper and bouncer. By far the best jam of this song I have heard from in the flesh tour. Will see if this version has it, most others very smoothly edit the best sequence out.
Ok verdict is in. yeah Oakland is great SQ but the show is lame. Boston kicks ass but the SQ is marginal. Definitely this version is cut on SOYCD VI-X. Missing the classic battle between the taper/bouncer and band. Is totally obvious if you have heard the real source. In my opinion the best Floyd jam ever, any RiO anywhere. If I were smart I would post my lame MP3 version somewhere. My wav version is in a storage locker in Vancouver.
Again, Thank you VERY much for these Floyd concerts.
I have another version of this show (different source). We'll see about posting it in a few weeks.
