New Site

This site is designed for people who enjoy discussions of live music.
Our primary topics will be groups from the 60's, 70's, 80' and 90's.
There will be a few suprises from this decade and ocassional glimpses into the 50's and even the 40's as well.
I hope that you will be pleased with what you find here.

Dave I am really sorry - it's all my fault. I am the Jonah! Dunno why it is but I have this effect on web things. Just after I started using Napster it was shut down. I switched to another P2P and it went off the air too. Then I joined EMusic and shortly after they stopped the 'all you can eat' service... I signed up for Demonoid and that went west - but it's back now.
Now my favourite boots site is worrying close to deja vu happening all over again.
Meanwhile, I shall pray for you and sacrifice a few virgins (if I can find any in our town) to make amends.
Cheers & TTFN

There is possibly a way around this... it would be a compromise but so are most things.
I was wondering how the 'bad guys' were drawn to your site in the first place. Prob like us through some Googling. Blogger doesn't seem to mind until someone complains. So what you have to do is camouflage the site from such people.
I recall the moves people made when WinMX started to fade. Change the order of letters in the name. Pink Floyd became Ponk Fliyd etc.
Alternatively you could have 'boot of the day' and we have to go off site to find out what it is. Another website has the details not Blogger.
You have built up a 'club' of fans who like your taste and will enjoy the mystery too! Being part of 'beating the man' just adds to the fun without making too much extra work for you.
Personally I was astonished when I first happened on your site. Surely this cannot be allowed I thought. Since then I have stumbled on other Blogspots that even post non-boots - all of Ywingie M's albums for ex. It is these that have likely drawn the flak and now its getting indiscriminate so you are suffering too.

I'm here too.

The more I think about this situation, more my thoughts are directed to the "professionals", you know, people who make profits with boots, and how much your blog is affecting their 'business'. If these riaa/record companies guys were in fact wise, they could see the great favour your blog is doing: spreading for free music which is many times ilegally sold, and more: helping the artists and supporting the sale of official albums, dvds, etc.

Please Dave, put your imprint on this new blank page, please up your boot #1, make it your landmark, I guess we'll all feel better this way... Thanks. Cheers !

Hi - there is HTML that you can insert into your blog template that will keep search engines from accessing your posts. I did this a while ago and no amount of searching will bring up anything from my blog.

Hey Dave, You know I am a huge fan of your site and I appreciate everything you do for us out in cyber-land but... any Joni Mitchell boots floating around which you could lay upon my greedy paws?
