I'm likin' this whole "artists new to QB" thang!
This is so cool! I visit your site almost daily for the big artists you post (Dylan, Van, Prince and Todd Rundgren in particular, and anything Beatley), but I have a big interest in other music too -- especially THIS guy's music! (Saw him in concert last week)
So this is a treat -- also, love anytime you dip into soul/R&B on this site as you do here.

My Letter to Santa Claus
How are things up north. Love your blog, and I also think your recent expansions into other artists are good. You are picking good ones. I am sure you have things and have access to sources unknown to me, so I will give a short list (the top entries of a longer list) of artists I have been looking for that I have never found anything from. If you have access to any of them, and, more importantly, if they strike you as being right for the blog, I would be the happiest boy in town.
1. Polvo (early- to mid-90's)
2. Regressive Aid (NJ band from the 80's. Andrew Weiss and Sim Cain went on to work w/ Henry Rollins, Ween, et al, but this band was amazing.)
3. Bobbie Gentry
Hope Mrs. Claus is well, and I hope the elves were not successful in their recent efforts to unionize.
P.S. I know you are Santa Claus, even though you don't admit it, because nobody else would ever give so many wonderful things to so many people all around the world, and apparently without even paying all that much attention to your list of naughty-and-niceness.

Wow thanks for all the upcoming new artists---would like to put a plug in for Arcade Fire, I may regret later as I am not at all familiar with their music but they seem to have gotten a lot of positive attention lately. Keep 'em coming and thanks as always!
