Hollywood Bowl 1973-09-21 FM
OU: Here's a great show from Procol Harum recorded at The Hollywood Bowl in 1973. This special show was recorded for King Biscuit Flower Hour and features Procol Harum accompanied by The Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra (conducted by Isaiah Jackson), and not to be confused with Edmonton Symphony Orchestra release. This show is sourced from the pre-fm CD, the commercials, announcer, and the officially released track "Simple Sister" have been removed. All Praise go to the Original Seeder, and as always Your Comments Are Appreciated!!!

Most of us who have seen Procol Harum have a special memory or two (feel free to share yours). Mine was at the 1968 Oakland Pop Outdoor Festival where the complete "In Held 'Twas I" suite was played in pouring rain and lightning, or the first time I heard them play "A Salty Dog" live a year later. Both are just unforgettable for me!

Where is the official release of Simple Sister from this concert to be found?

Thank you very much. I had the whole concert only in mp3-version, but with "Simple Sister". So I have to "integrate" this song from mp3 source in your lossless concert. Hope, it will work.

If a track has been officially released it doesn`t get posted.
This is a bootleg! Who cares if it has been released?

As with the others, where has "Simple Sister" been released? That said, Thank You for removing it!! Never liked it, never felt it fit anywhere, certainly it's at odds with the rest of the concert here, especially with the orchestra and chorus. Love this concert. Ironically, even though the soundboard/broadcast is excellent ++, the sound at the Hollywood Bowl was atrocious.

Thanks for the post!!

Anyways, still a great concert!
