Loving all the soulful music today! Keep it coming, Dave... so many other great soul artists I'd like to see more of, like Aretha Franklin, the Stylistics, the Spinners, Raphael Saadiq, Tony Toni Tone, and more...
James Brown is a true American Icon. A crowning centerpiece for a band that was OH-SO-TIGHT and clearly 'The Man In Charge' ...but, the band was so good and they knew James so well that they could make him jump, jive, faint, or go into a trance. Now, THAT's Chemistry! Can I count it off???
I just hope Don Cornelius comes out and asks James "will you come back later and do another one?" ...get on up! Thanx!!!
