Notes: This is audio, not video. The famous three live Oakland tunes here played on Don Kirshner's Rock Concert in the early 1980s. I recorded this off a device that delivered TV audio like a radio. Decent quality in mono. Roth says here the Oakland stuff was from the last night, hence I gave the 6/13/81 if Roth is to be believed.

Notes: This is audio of the US Fesitval from a Westwood One broadcast. Thinking about it, this was the only live material from the Roth era the band approved for broadcast. The one hole in the legacy of CVH is that there was not a live album from the band. To compound it, no true soundboards after 1977 from the band have made it out of the vaults. Luckily there are some nice audience recordings.

Did you think that there were 13 outtakes of VH covering the Moody Blues in the first part?
D'oh!
There is a video of them in concert from the late 70s, saw it at a party in the Hollywd Hills about 30 years ago, but it was not released to the public. Why no live concerts and videos of the Zep??

Just a correction to the info in this post..there ARE Van Halen (CVH) soundboards out there after 1977. On Fire in Fresno (79) for one. There are others as well...go to http://www.vhboots.com/ for details of most all VH boots
