The "Bass Solo" of the North Sea concert has a great rendition of Purple Haze in the final part, very cool. Love it, love it.
By the way, any more of these North Sea Jazz Festival recordings in the vault? I like them a lot.

If you have the chance to read the Legion of Doom story, and how\why they disbanded it is intriguing. Jaco comes out for their first song, in C, and begins to improvise in a flat.
