Forgot to add a request. I found a wma version of something called xyz demos yesterday. It is only 4 tracks, but the sound is quite good (has a proto version of Fortune Hunter-no lyrics) Never thought anything real ever came of those long ago x, yes, zep rumors. Any chance you might have the lossless version? Do you know if there are more tracks out there?

Back then it was the "L.A. Forum" or "Fabulous Forum". It wasn't Great Western until the late 80's

First of all - THANKS DAVE! Words cannot describe how awesome your site continues to be.
Second - how about some reviews, folks? I already have the 21st & 23rd and I'm currently taking the 25th. How do the others stand up? Inquiring minds want to know....
Hey JR, reviews would require Led Zeppelin fans to actually take (more) time and listen to the damn concerts rather than just "acquire" them--but maybe because every show from this tour has the same setlist and similiar playing--that this is probably not necessary.

Yeah, there are only a few variations in the 1977 set lists. But those differences make collecting 'em ~ (downloadin') worthwhile. For example: 6/22/77 is the only '77 show to include both IMTOD & Over the Hills. 6/22 has NiCE sound quality, just not quite as nice as the 21st, 23rd, 25th & 27th. The 21st/Eddie includes the only Heartbreaker performed in LA '77. On the 26th they do "That's Alright Mama" & "It"ll Be Me".
Finally, some worthwhile information on the actual shows, rather than "this link doesn't work"!

imo... If you have this set, you really don't
need any more '77 shows.
on 6/22/77, before SIBLY, apparently Jimmy has an issue keeping his pants up. Amusing Plantations before & after SIBLY.
There's really no denying that the setlists on the '77 tour rarely varied. No different than any other year, really.
But the performances themselves (specifically the contributions of Page and Plant) were hardly the model of consistency that year. They generally ranged from average to somewhere below. The LA shows - and maybe a handful of others - were exceptions to that.
The point about acquisition being more important than the actual listening is a really good one. I think it'd be great if there were more dialog about that actual shows.
Now that i think of it here's a question, just in case somebody bothered to actually listen to all of this stuff....(haha)
Is Ten Years Gone complete in any of these shows? I believe it's complete on the 23rd but can't find my discs. It is definitely cut on the 21st and 25th.
i've been holding (for a lack of proper distriibution) on a vinyl of this recordimg about 20 years. Thanks dave ! For Zep fans, the interplay between Jones and Page on "No Quarter" always been kind of a meter for me as things were going. The keyboards, the piano, the guita,... and obvliously the drums acting as the glue between all instruments. BQ.
No info about who did the recordings? He should be awarded for these! Wow! This gives a real insight of what it was like for six nights, back in june 77... All hats off from the madhatter and to you Dave for uploading this massive boots in each and every sense!
