This one I'll have to check out eventually because i always felt this was one (of the few?) of Dan's great recording jobs that didn't need any pitch adjustment. (i hope this remaster has very minimal [and correct!] speed correction or else Geddy will really sound [even more so!] like one of The Chipmunks!)
"Geddy will really sound [even more so!] like one of The Chipmunks!)"
...or the ferret had particularly sharp claws/teeth the day.
Thanks for the shows!
now that i think about it, speed correction on this one, if needed, should slow Geddy's voice down a bit--not the other way around--since some of Dan's original tapes run fast (as the batteries in his deck slowly died) after the straight tape-to-digital transfer, so the first non-speed adjusted version (which sounds fine to me, btw) will have the (increased) full-on "banshee wailing" vocals!!
Either way, i always felt this was one of Dan's best taping jobs, and i thank Dave for providing it here for those that don't have Dime accounts!
Thank you!! Been almost three months since you put out another Rush release. even if it is a speed corrected re-release I appreciate it tremendously.
Thanks, I loves me some Rush!
Any chance we could get the opening act? (STARZ)
I loved those guys.....
Great show and recording, thanks Dan and Dave!
