I suspect I'm gonna get flak (or should that be FLAC?) from my new buddy bootleg43 for mentioning this, but isn't that the wrong line-up on the cover photo?
When I posted the same comment about The Beatles Decca audition last February he suggested I should be charged! Not sure if he meant charged a fee or charged with breaking some arcane law protecting the sanctity of inaccurate bootleg artwork.
I await my punishment . . .
Bootleg cover art is what it is. I have seen bands completely different on the cover from what the back shows.

Now this is a very good '78 show. Its always a party at Red Rocks. As for the cover art, they also list the location as Morrison, CA instead of CO. Bootleggers don't seem to care about the accuracy of the cover art so much. As long as the recording itself is clean, I can overlook the rest. This recording is very clean and the performance is hot as well. The only flaw is a tape flip at the beginning of drums.

Am going to Furthur in February just to check in again but as the sticker says "I still miss Jerry".
No need to download Space!! I just checked Internet Archive against my disc. One of the audience recordings lists Drums>Space as one track at 15:33 in length. On my disc, Drums is 15:35 in length. Blame it on the cover art as well.
Charged a fee for downloading, was my meaning back then. Your punishment is to download more bootlegs and ensure the cover art is accurate. 78 is a decent year at best... and also the start of the decline-caused-by-smoking-heroin. The Godchaux era was winding down and the start of the dreaded Brent era... so there are much better years to post. By the same token, I love seeing more dead on here and wait for much more to be posted... like Fall 72, any 68, any 70, any 73, and as many outtakes from 75 rehearsals as I can find. I already own it all but upgrades are also mucho appreciated. Keep tappin that toe, Jim. And thanks Dave and thanks Randy for posting more Dead.
Sorry, nothing from any of those years on disc. Plenty on cassette waiting to be turned into FLAC files. There will be an April 71 show from the Fillmore East with bonus songs from the following night. I don't know exactly when Dave plans to release it though.
Randy, I have basically EVERYTHING between 65 and 77 on analog tape. If someone could explain where I can go to convert these, I'd be more than happy to share my entire collection. Keep up the good work.

Thanks Randy... let me see what I can do to FINALLY get some of this stuff converted. The next thing I need to learn is how to get rid of hiss on some of these tapes. I have a rehearsal from 75 that I have never seen available on disc. For my money, it is the best of the SNACK Rehearsals and I'd love to get it out there. But it is hissy. The performance beats the sound quality, even with the hiss. But if it could be cleaned up... toes start tappin in anticipation.
