Mastered to CD from the original tape and speed corrected by Danalog of Man of Leisure Music (MoLM) www.molm.org It's likely the original tape recording machine's calibration was slightly off. MoLM got the master tape on loan from Carzi, who got it from the taper. Recorded with a Technics Single Point Stereo Microphone and a Sony TC153SD Cassette deck.
This recording has less audible background audience than the more common Golden Stars/MoLM source. It tends to have a fuller range of sound, but slightly less bass than the more circulated source from this date. This is the same taper who is known to have recorded 04Nov73, 16Nov74, 17Nov74, 06Aug80 and 17Jun81.
Compared to the incredible 06Aug80 recording, he's further back in the crowd, so the sound is just a bit more distant in nature. The August 1980 recording may be the best recording, but this last Wall show is a hard performance to beat.

Hi Dave, all of your posts starting with "lix-in" give me this warning when I try to acces them:
"Your browser is trying to contact an Internet site that is used in connection with distribution of photos depicting sexual abuse of children. This is a criminal offence in accordance with the italian penal code. ETC. ....."

we have no such warning on this side of the water.
And it is true that any link hider can be used for deviant purposes but not here...
Does this mean that you are locked out or merely warned that you might be getting in trouble if you get the wrong type of download?
I'm locked out because I cannot get trough the warning page... I can acces a megaupload or RS address directly, but not if I go trough a "lix-in" extension... So the problem is not your site, but the http address with the word lix-in, I suppose... I'll wait and see if other Italian users have the same problem, since the warning page has been set by Italian Web Police...
Many thanks for this Dave, I'm just downloading it now and can't wait to hear if its an improvement on my older cassette and Cd versions of this show. I was at this show - one of only 2 times I managed to see the Floyd before Roger left - once in 1980 (4th Aug) and this one in 81 (which was conveniently the day after my final A-level exam - what a great way to celebrate the end of the exams!). Cheers for this and all the other stuff I've downloaded from your site over the last year or so!! Alan.

Hey Dave, thanks for all the hard work. But, Run like hell is broken and winrar gives a corrupted file error. please re-upload just the track. I am ADD about my shows, if there is any missing tracks I can't bear to listen to them, lol.

I have had a similar problem as experienced by tomers113 (the Run Like Hell.shn file comes up as corrupt when deconpressed with winRAR). This happening to / with anyone else?

Hi - I had the same problem with the Run Like Hell track - in part 8 of the RAR archive from RS - didn't try the MU version yet. Would really appreciate a re-up of the track or whole of part 8 if easier. Merry Christmas!
Hi Dave - Just to let you know I replaced the RS part 8 with the MU part 8 and all the files extracted OK!
