So many christmas presents before christmas...Thank you very much Dave for this great sounding show. I´m thrilled.
I cannot make the claim to be a Rory fan. However, a long time ago, I was told that the dude CAN play. I am hoping someone who knows his stuff can suggest the best 3 to 5 Rory shows on this site so I can download them. I feel like stretching open my vault and adding Rory, based upon my friend's review of a show from about 35 years ago. Apparently, when playing small clubs, Rory was known to jump on tables and literally shred strings in people's faces. I NEED some of that action. Anyone to my rescue on the Rory scene?

I have a question also. Would it be possible to number these Lampinski recordings as they were originally released? I believe this one is somewhere in the upper 20s? It would be helpful for us obsessives who have to catalog everything. :)

I had never heard any of his music before this...WOW he is a fantastic guitarist...super blues rock!!! As always, Dan Lampinski's recordings are impeccable, crisp, clean and superb...thanks Dave!!!

I'am new to downloading and file sharing and have only just found your site. I down loaded this concert (Rory Gallagher Boston '76 (Dan Lampinski master))but when I try to unpack it, it asks for a password altough there is nothing posted ?
i have down loaded shows already that did not require a password and I downloaded a further two today that do.
Do I need to "subscibe" or "join"
to recieve a password for certain shows ?

I would highly recommend the Rory Gallagher show "Live at the Agora Theater, 1978" show. It is a fantastic performance, a really great period for Rory, really good set-list and really great sounding recording.
The Live BBC Alternate Takes posting is very good. I would also highly recommend the Live at Cowtown and Live at Montreaux.
You can find some other Rory shows elsewhere too. I would strongly recommend Rory Gallagher "Live at the Paris Theater, London 8-12-71. These are recordings from BBC radio shows that are also must have.
