Dave, you dog!!! You never said you were a Larry fan! I guess if you play guitar in the 7s you were a Larry fan! Saw him night after night at the Baked Potato, inlcuding the night of the live CD (sans horns). EVH would be in the audience, Russ Freeman, stealing licks. Thanks so much for upload.

Dave: listened to this again in the car today about 5 times. AWESOME!!! Pops is the finest bass player I can remember hearing. How does he know all these weird notes to hit, he goes down, pops up, changes direction, unreal. And of course, Larry is...."LARRY". I think in his time, he was The Best. This is great stuff, Big D, thanks.==BASS PLAYERS, take note, this is what to aspire to!!!
Tracks 4,6,& 9 are corrupted . Can you please fix them.
Track 3 ("unknown") is called "Watts Happening" (you can hear them say "Watts" before they start playing). It was originally recorded for Pacific Jazz, and is part of the Jazz Crusaders Pacific Jazz Quintet Studio Recordings (Mosaic).
Thanks so much for this recording. I saw them live in the Spring of 1973 near San Francisco, perhaps a night or two before or after this recording. Great memories.
I was a big fan of this band in the 70s. Saw them at the Roxy in LA a few times. Amazing players through the whole band. Wish for more of this. This is the best sounding Crusaders boot I have ever heard. Thanks
