A great but incomplete (as usual) Thick as a Brick show, this one from Milwaukee. One of the better recordings of this tour, with a small, mostly undetectable patch for a tape flip at the end of "News and Weather" and beginning of part two of the title track. Thanks to Gr8BigBoy for providing the tape.
If this recording seems familiar, it's because I probably seeded it somewhere a long time ago. The FLAC files have not changed since then, but the FFP's are new.

Pretty Good Sounding (mono) TAaB show! Unfortunately the toolman doesn't mention any pitch/speed correction being done--which is too bad!--since this version definitely runs a little too slow.
IMO, this recording can't compete with the Shinjuki Hall, Tokyo reel-to-reel which runs at the right speed/pitch, is in stereo, has a very quiet Japanese audience, and doesn't have any cuts in the performance.

I do not fully agree with Anonymous - this is clearly among the better sounding TAAB shows. And on my PC it is stereo - perhaps an upgrade to his.... ;-). Doesn't really need a lot of tinkering, although I agree it runs a little slow (but not alarmingly so). I dehummed it, boosted the mid frequencies ever so slightly and decreased the highs from around 3-5 Mhz to get a more reasonable frequency response, and now I am perfectly happy - thanks a lot...
