Thanks Dave for sharing this gig on MD. It's always welcome to my collection.
best regards, K.
I think this was a show where they opened for Neil Young & Crazy Horse, wasn't it? The same Neil show that was later released... I notice Miles' name is on the marquee on the cover of that Neil album.
Anyway, great share - thanks!
Nice post Dave! Thanks a bunch. Always love some MD. According to Deadbase X, the billing that night was Grateful Dead, Miles Davis Quintet, Stone the Crows and Clouds. This was the first of a four night run with this billing. No mention of Neil Young.
Why do you use those almost unknown audio formats instead of others well known for most of us?
Dan
A very nice tape. Thanks Dave. I really like Miles.
Anonymous from 5:06 PM mentions that the band Clouds played in this same program. I suppose that it's the same scottish prog band Clouds. This is a very interesting coincidence as recently I was watching a video from an old German TV program (Beat Club)and Clouds was there. A trio.
Cheers!

Sorry friend but .SHN files are not "unknown to most of us". Download a free version of Traders Little Helper to convert to .WAV
The gigs with Neil Young were at the Fillmore East the month before. Great shows on both coasts, but I like the Fillmore East ones better because they've got Wayne Shorter!
