Leaving for Vacation

Social-Media-Vacation
Hi Friends,
I wanted to let you know that I will be heading for a two week vacation very soon.
There will be boots every day just not as many as when I am home. Also, there have been very few issues with the posts lately but if they do occur then I will simply approach them one-by-one when I get back. I will be monitoring the blog every few days and will still be reading your comments.
Take Care and I will let you know when I am "officially" back.
Blessings!
Dave

I am reminded of this travel quote: 'We don't take trips, trips take us.'

Hope your trip takes you somewhere special.

Have a good time, forget about the internet and the music for a while, it's always important to have a break from time to time.
Thanks for putting so much energy and time into this blog to keep us "anonymouses" entertained !

I agree with some of the previous posts Dave. Just take a couple of weeks out and don't even think about the blog. You perform a great public service as it is and everybody needs to take a little time out sometimes.

Thanks for the posts Dave. When I first found your blog I had no idea about RAR and FLAC. Now not only have I learned about both but you've also supplied all of us with the motherload of Floyd Boots. Have a great vacation.

Rapid Share Warning:

Last month RS was charging 495 of their "rapids" for 1 month service. So i bought 1,000 "rapids" because it was cheaper that way.

Since then they have doubled their price to 990 "rapids" per month.

I am stuck with 505 paid for but unused "rapids" unless I pay another 990 Euros & I will still have an extra unused 550 rapids.

I have emailed them regarding this, I will post their response somewhere here.

Follow up to my Rapid Share post above (in case anyone is interested):

They admitted that they raised their prices (actually doubled) on May 18th.

While they refused to honor the price that was in effect for service on the day I paid, they did (after several emails & 1 threat by me) refund 50% of what I paid (I did use the other 50% before the price increase).

Mixed feelings; at least I didn't get totally ripped off, but I would have preferred that they simply honored the price that was in effect at the time I purchased their service.
