OU: Where do I begin? It was around 1994 and I was in Rome on business, but it was the weekend and I was a tourist. I was passsing by a CD store and saw some "fan club" recordings in the window. So I went and and $450 later (~ 765,000 Lire) I picked up an 8 CD Jimi Hendrix Box (51st Anniversary The Story of Life), an 8 CD Led Zeppelin set called Cabala, an 8 CD boxed set of Pink Floyd called Variations on a Theme of Absence and this 4CD set of Jimi called "Every Way to Paradise". So here it is. I've never seen it posted here before. I scanned all the art work for those who care.

Oh..we C_A_R_E! Can any women (not MY wife!) ever truly understand the absolute LUNACY of the collector!

These Jimi jams may not quite equal the beauty and the glory of the Beatific Vision, but as a soundtrack on the way there, this is more than adequate. Great collection. Thank you!
Please note that the details of a number of these recordings are incorrect and several songs are fake, ie. not including Jimi at all.

Every way to Paradise (Tintagel TIBX 0021-0024 / 1993 / 4x1CD Box) ftbfs: B471
Disc 1: Outtakes 1967-69 / John McLaughlin Jam, New York City, NY 25.03.69 [Complete] plus Fake material with No Hendrix involvement *
[* "America The Beautiful" is David Henderson's version of "God Save The Queen" and "Home Acoustic Jam" is by an unknown artist; No Hendrix involvement]
Disc 2: Outtakes 1968-70 ** plus Drake Hotel Demo, New York City, NY apr.1968 / Buddy Miles Jam, New York City, NY 14.11.69 / Jam with Traffic, Electric Lady Studio, New York City, NY 15.06.70
notes:
- "Session Thing" (listed as "Beyond The Valleys Of Neptune") was initially believed to be part of the Jam with Traffic at Electric Lady Studios 15.06.70, but has later been determined to come from TTG Studios 29.10.68. It has now also been suggested that the flute may have been played by Lowell George, not Jim Horn, and the keyboards by Graham Bond, not Lee Michaels.
