Dave, I hate this band, although I did do an excellent remix of Casey Jones last night. NO MUD. I am the Steve Hoffman of , whatever. I will send you a link to my rs.
what did one Grateful Dead fan say to the other when they ran out of pot?
"Dude, this band sucks!"
:-) Anyway thanks.
Thanks for this excellent post, Dave.
1972 - the best Grateful Dead concert year ever!
Cheers
In the UK, a prefab was a post WW2 utility building which was designed for a short life span. Strangely enough some are still standing.
Grateful Dead Fans are like people who like licorice. Not everyone likes licorice, but the people who like licorice REALLY like licorice.
I have been checking out some of the recent Furthur (Phil, Bobby, et. al.) tour. The 3/15 with the Abbey Road stuff is pretty nice. The guitar player sounds a heck of a lot like Jerry. Of course, vintage stuff like this is still the mainstay!
Thanks, as always!
Thanks Dave.
Funny how on every blog I go to with a "Prefabfan", they all turn out to be real schmucks. Wonder if it is the same a-hole.
I hear you on the Prefabfan, he especially likes to disparage the Dead. As if a fan of Prefab is actually qualified to evaluate music, please.
In addition to being a fan of crappy music, Prefabfan is also terribly unoriginal. He uses the same dumb joke in all of his Grateful Dead posts.
To any fans of the Good Ol' Grateful Dead looking for more smoking live Dead, check these shows out; 4-23-1977 Springfield, MA, 9-6-1980 Lewiston, ME, and 10-15-1983 Hartford, CT. All killer shows. Nice sounding audience recordings available on the internet archive in loseless.
More 72 DATS please. This stuff is the creme de la creme.
Prefab Sprout SUCKS. A knockoff hack Beatles cover band.
Prefabfan is a simple "Simon". Twit.
