OU NOTES: The original source of this recording was the "Robert Plant Experience". Many Thanks to all those who had already made a tremendous work creating this one.
This is most certainly one of Robert Plant's best nights ever. The original lacked a little presence and definition, and Robert's voice was often drowned under the rest when it deserved to be loud and clear. In this version you can hear him in all his glory, hope you'll like it.

there are hundreds of LZ live bootlegs. Could someone tell me wich are must haves???? (best sound and performance)
Thanks to all LZ completists.-
This is a good show but I wasn't a big fan of earlier audience mixes. Hope this one sounds better because the show rocks.
Couple of good to very good sounding Zep shows:
1) 1975-2-28 "Rampaging Cajun", Baton Rouge, LA. Nice sounding board, show is decent too.
2) 1973-1-22 Old Refectory University, Southampton, England. Couple of versions floating around. This is one of the best sounding Zep boards out there. Show is decent too but the band wasn't too impressed with the mostly male audience, I think it prevented this from being a killer show.
3) 1977-6-20 The Forum, Inglewood, CA. This is an excellent sounding audience recording brought to us by the late great Mike Millard. Don't sell yourself short on audience recordings. When they're done right they put you right in the audience and can kick the posterior of many boards. This is a good one and a good show to boot
I haven't made a list, but a few that come to mind for great sound quality are
Four Blocks In The Snow
http://qualitybootz.blogspot.com/2008/05/led-zeppelin-four-blocks-in-snow-v2.html
this one
http://qualitybootz.blogspot.com/2009/08/led-zeppelin-san-francisco-1969-2005.html
and a title called "For badge holders only" was a favorite of mine in the vinyl days(1977-06-23)
this link includes that date
http://qualitybootz.blogspot.com/2010/01/led-zeppelin-for-badge-holders-only.html
but I suggest getting them all and choosing for yourself;)
ZEP LA Forum is 6.21.77 and 6.27.77 also rocks.
Some gems:
San Francisco 11 Jan 1969 (soundboard)
San Francisco 24 April 1969 (audience)
San Francisco 27 April 1969 (soundboard with audience gap-fillers)
Paris 10 Oct 1969 (pre-FM)
Montreaux, 7 Mar 1970 (audience)
LA 4 Sep 1970 (audience)
Southampton 22 Jan 1973 (soundboard multitrack mixdown)
NYC 12 Feb 1975 (get a soundboard-audience matrix version)
Vancouver 19 March 1975 (soundboard)
Cleveland 27 April 1977 (soundboard)
Inglewood/LA 21 June 1977 (audience)
Copenhagen 24 July 1979 (audience)
Frankfurt 30 June 1980 (soundboard)
London 10 Dec 2007 (audience)
Good list, partuicularly the Copenhagen '79, both nights are stunning and one of my favourite aud recordings (nice warm tone)couple of revisipons:
Get the Godfather release for 1975-02-12 - pure soundboard but sounds so good it could be official. Also the 'Thri13en' remaster of the Vancouver '75 is stunnning for sound and great performance too. If you like '73 tour then Mobile (dadgad) is also fab sound. For '72 start with 1972-06-25 'Burn Like A Candle' (GM Edition)
The complete unmarked Millard Masters ARE ABSOLUTELY ESSENTIAL for serious 75-77 collectors. ps I also recommend getting 'em all!!
Thanks a lot to all of you, boys !!!!!!
Totally agree about the Godfather version of 12 Feb 1975 NYC - just recently acquired this and was stunned at how good it sounds. Probably the best-sounding Led Zeppelin bootleg ever.
Also agree about the thir13en remaster of Vancouver 1975 - that's the one I have, and it's by far the best version of this date.
Just got a copy of the Mobile AL SBD recently but haven't yet had a chance to listen to it - will look forward to it!
As for Copenhagen 1979, I have a soft spot for those shows; the 2nd night was the first Zep bootleg I ever owned and I still love it after all these years...
