TRANSFER/EDITING NOTES: Very little was done in remastering this vintage audience recording since there wasn't a whole lot of dynamic to work with on the original recording. My main purpose in remastering this recording was to eliminate some of the noise plaguing each track while retaining the musical qualities of the original recording. I made several attempts until I arrived at what was, in my opinion, a satisfactory result. I used a 30 band graphic equalizer to remove the hiss present throughout the recording. I found this tool much more useful than noise reduction as I could select the high frequencies specifically that were causing the majority of the hiss and reduce them accordingly. This way, the remaining musical frquencies are left untouched. If I had used noise reduction, the entire spectrum would be affected, producing a garbled over-processed affect. I hope this effort is appreciated by Neil Young & Crazy Horse fans everywhere. Enjoy!

Thanks, Dave.

According to Pete Long's excellent book "Ghost On The Road" the correct date is 28th March 1970. In his comment to this particular concert he says that it was broadcast on radio in the USA by KUSC but mistakenly identified as November 1969.

Cheers

Me again - forgot to tell that "Ghost On The Road" details all Neil Young's concerts and setlists through the years.

Cheers
