1. Across the Borderline
2. I Am a Patriot
Comments from freezer: I was sitting in front of the radio, reading and going through the stations, when I came upon KCRW and the announcer said that they were broadcasting some Nicaraguan festival and that Jackson Browne was going to be joining the band as a surprise guest. So I slammed the first blank cassette I had handy into the recorder. JB played only 2 songs, both of which are here. I suspect that JB was at this fest, he was either coerced onto the stage or he was a little lit up and volunteered to play,
Anyway, this is all he played that night. Or rather that was broadcast, because I left the radio on KCRW until the fest broadcast was over.
Comments from Lynne: There is some hum during parts of this short set. Jackson Browne comments about it at the end of track one. He says it is from the lights.

Off the subject. Do you have any soundboard Rush shows from 1981?
You are a master of quality bootz. May I call you Sensei?
All JB stuff gratefully received - even it's only a couple of songs like this. Cheers, matey!
Re: Rush 1981 SBDs if you KNOW of any dates that have soundboards available it is much easier for me to locate than to go through lists of every Rush boot produced from 1981 shows.
Let me know but I'll snoop a little in the meantime.

Love any KCRW stuff by almost anybody... they're like the American BBC/John Peel show. Thanks for this and welcome any more!
