Lowell George was a genius... love my Little Feat. Thanks for this one Dave!

I think this is one of the great bootlegs of all time. The real star of this show is Bill Payne. RIP Lowell.

thx for your comments. I'll post some more LF next week for you.

This and some other tasty LF shows from the '70s can be found at Internet Archive's Live Music Archive. There are 2 shows from '75 that I would highly suggest: 10-18-75 Rochester, NY, and 10-31-75 Boston, MA. The Boston show is an FM broadcast. I've had both in my collection for quite some time now.

Thank you for the classic Little Feat, I think I may already have this one so I will check before I download this one.

Little Feat and NRBQ were my favorite bands in the late 70's to get me out of a depressed state.

RIP Lowell!

Thanks for the LF Dave. We're going to be doing some cooking/other fun inside chores today & this will be great to crank up & make the work go by quicker.

Randy,

Thanks for the Internet Archive suggestion for the LF concerts. I just went over there & found 300+ uploads (not all different venues & not all lossless). I'll have to give a listen to your suggestions as I like LF but not enough to download & listen to 300 of them :yikes.

IA is an incredible project & is great for getting lots of music from those bands that allow it (I've gotten quite a Zevon & Big Head Todd collection thanks to them). The biggest problem that I've found is that there is just so much there that unless you're looking for a specific band/person & can search on them easily (odd name) that they tend to get lost in the clutter. But when you do find them.... :-)

Have a great weekend everyone.

I B,

An easy way to get to those shows: At IA's home page, put Little Feat in the search and from the drop down menu, select Live Music Archive as where to search. From the search results, on the right side, Sort Results by: click on Date. When that page loads it will show 10 pages of results, click on the 10th page and when that loads it will reveal the 11th and 12th pages of results. You will find both shows on the 11th page, towards the bottom. You know what to do from there... Enjoy!!
