Ronnie James Dio was finally laid to rest on June 1, 2010 at 3:33 PM at Forest Lawn, Hollywood Hills, CA.
Ronnie was carried to his final resting place by his friends, Vinny Appice, Geezer Buttler, Craig Goldy, Steve Mignardi, Scott Warren and Simon Wright.

Another musician battling cancer right now is Mick Karn of the group Japan. An appeal on his website was posted for him saying that he needs financial help in this situation.
