Out of the roots of "Mission Mountain Wood Band" out of Spokane, Wa.
The great "Bluegrass/Country/Rock Band" that almost made it to be cut short with all of them dying in a plane crash to a gig.
RIP Boys....You all are missed!!!!
10 Killed in Montana Plane Crash
Published: July 6, 1987
Firefighters hosing down the wreckage of a twin-engine plane that crashed Saturday night at Flathead Lake. All six members of the Montana Band, a bluegrass group, were killed in the crash, along with the pilot, a friend of the pilot, the band's road manager and the 12-year-old son of a band member. The musicians had played at the lake resort and were flying to Post Falls for another engagement.
Give this band a listen and see what was almost the big time for them.

Mission Mountain Wood Band is performing again as just Terry Robinson of the original band died in the crash with his then band The Montana Band.Still a terrible tragedy.
