The quality varies throughout but it's generally pretty good. The label, The Genuine Pig, were the same people who ran Swinging Pig and although they suggest otherwise, they weren't the same guys who ran Trademark of Quality.”

What program do you need to split the single FLAC file into the seperate tracks? I'm a bit confused at this point? TIA for any help.
a cue sheet is provided most cd burning programs will split the tracks for you if you use the cue

If you load the cue sheet into your program, the rest usually follows.
As long as the cue file and the flac file are in the same directory, just load the cue in a program, such as Exact Audio Copy, or Burrrn, and the program will do the rest for you when burning. This is assuming you're using Windows. Good luck.
Thanks again Dave. As far as the CUE files go, it depends on how you convert. I have very basic set up. I convert from FLAC to WAV using WINAMP. I then burn to disc using NERO. In my case, I need to edit the CUE file to reflect the exact file name of the.WAV file. I then need to move the modified CUE to the same folder as the WAV files. The CUE files for these 6 files along with the IU files posted Sunday have titles that do not match the names of the RAR files. After I edited using wordpad to change from the "CD title" as a .FLAC to the actual file name as .WAV files, the CUE files worked like a charm. Hope this might help someone out there.

I do not burn to disc. I play my files on the hard drive directly to my big Kenwood amp, and then on to my Pioneer 903s. Can a burning program still be used for that?
The problem with using cue sheets is the assumption that an individual wants to burn a CD. I do not play CDs, I play straight off my hard drive. Now I have to buy blank CDs, burn them, then re-rip them. Or else I have to open the file and enter all the track breaks individually. I'd really appreciate uploads that are not disc images! Especially for The Stones!!
I use Cue Splitter. Course, I gotta take it down to an MP3, but that's what I generally do anyway...

Exact Audio Copy (freeware - google it) has a Split-Wave-by-cue-sheet feature which also renames the tracks to match the names in the cue sheet.
The software can be configured to burn images with FLAC files (onverting on fly) so it might in theory be possible to do this with split-wave function. However I don't do this.
To use
1. Decode flac to wave
2. Edit cue sheet to refer to ".wav" file rather than ".flac"
3. Open EAC. Execute Tools|Split-Wave-By-Cue-Sheet|with gaps.
4. Re-encode new wav files to FLAC.
Delete large image wav that remains. You now have an identical copy of the contents split to tracks. EAC also creates a "cutted" version of the cue file. This is the wrong place to get too technical but the cue file contains all the instructions to set indexes and CD-TEXT. In theory the capability is there to have a CD player recognise INDEXES apart from "1" (the start) you might INDEX the separate sections of Shine On You Crazy Diamond or Atom Heart Mother. More usefully you might index the start of the music on a live CD at "2" and the preceding crowd sounds as "1" to aid skip-to-music.
