This project took (the original uploader) about 150 hours, over 2 months of time to complete the rework.
Sound enhancement was done with izotope ozone within adobe audition 3, distortions were removed by manually selecting microseconds of time where the distortion could be seen in spectral view and cleaning them with the fill single click option.
I think people will surprised at how great dazed sounds, its the best version from the japan tour.

The ninth megaupload segment won't load.

temporarily unavailable is not the same as deleted. it just menas that megaupload is doing some system maintenance.

#9 "temporarily" unavailable for three days now.
Thanks for the show. The sound enhanced part loaded fine and sounds great. I'll keep checking on the other part with fingers crossed.

Why would anybody bother
"remixing" only the last half of this show, not only once, but 3 different times? This makes no sense to me. This is a complete waste to add into your collection. When obtaining to whole concert should be the main goal. Skip this and go find "Wendy Records" Moral Reader release.

Hey 2.0, your double post is great and extremelly rare, but it's a little bit frustrating to download all the filles of Megaupload and discover that is impossible to have the second disc dowloaded because the 9 link is still "temporaly" unavailable.Could you fix that? Thanks for all the best Zeppelin posts.

I find it amusing that Anon believes he/she can tell us what we "should" all be collecting... let me guess... political Left Winger who knows what is best for everyone in all cases at all times? Gosh, if only we could all live in peace (like we are supposed to)... wouldn't the world be perfect then, Anon?

Hey Bootleg43, let me guess, you are a conservative (douchebag). Oh, this isn't a politcal blog, huh? Sorry, I missed that.

Well...

I would, political considerations aside, say that Wendy's Moral Reader is a great release of this particular concert.I am not certain but I might have gotten it from QB as well.
I cannot speak for this release as I haven't heard it.
There is something to be said for a little knowledge though. I'm no ZepHead but I have taken the time to listen to 4-5 dozen releases intently ...and some multiple times and do some research as well.

From that I would add a few truisms(things that Zep heads agree on much of the time):
1.The '71 Japan concerts consistently get tagged as the best-of-the best;not so the 72 tour.
From the '71 I would recommend...above all others...Wendy's Fatally Wanderer...which IS on QB.

2. From the 25 best Zep concerts ever (http://www.stryder.de/rest/top_25_boots.txt )only one...and NOT THIS Japan tour...makes the list of the top 25 concerts...that would be Burn Like A Candle..which definitely IS on QB (& re-released very recently on QB by my sometimes faulty memory

3.I love talking politics as much as the next guy...its not up there with fine wine or sex but its probably 3rd!
...just it has little relevance to QB; plus when used as a sword it tends to end conversations, rather than begin them.

then again,as my wife would attest, what do I know?!?!?

Dave. I apologize for the D-bag comment I left. No place for that here. My bad.

Anonymous said...

And I don't apologize because the guy who KNOWS what all of our collecting goals "should" be proved himself to be EXACTLY and PRECISELY what I predicted he would be... I love when things go exactly perfect!

P.S. I was not the ANON who left the comment (back in 2008). Does Bootleg43 actually think there is only one ANON poster. "43", you are a Douchebag.

Well, I think this thread is bit like the pot calling the kettle a DOUUUUUCCCCCCCCHHHHHHHHEEEEEEEEEE BAG!!!!

Appreciate the recommendations, but could someone tell me if there's a zep-leg anywhere in the universe (besides that bbc show) that DOESNT have the WLL medley version, which honestly could suck the chrome off a trailer hitch???
