OU: OK, so I know that I'm going to catch 10 types of hell for even posting this {here}, and in all honesty, I never intended to even record this show. However, curiousity got the best of me and I just dropped the H2 into a cup holder and let it do the rest. The result is pretty sub-par, but I doubt you ever see any Britney concerts out in the wild with a lossless lineage. It's boomy and the bass is sloppy. Her vocals get drowned out, there's screamers, there's talkers, and overall I just did this for shit and giggles. In the end though, it's not bad considering where I sat and how I had it set up. The theme of the show as portrayed by the video interludes is that Britney is an international spy who is evading her boss. In the end she catches up to him and in the last segment entitled "The Silent Assassin", she gives him what he deserves. It was a fun show but not as entertaining as the Circus tour. Of course, after suffering through DJ Pauly D (yes, THAT Pauly D), she could have came out and just stood there and it would have been more entertaining than that douche bag.

OK--You've crossed the line now. I thought this blog released MUSIC bootlegs. Don't do this again.

Since she lip-syncs to her records, won't you get in trouble for posting studio material? lol

HEY! It is nice to see some of the current top 40 pop acts on here.

This album is overproduced and well... you know, but as far as bubblegum music goes... Britney just ain't that bad.

Besides, maybe you all should just listen to some Britney. Maybe then you would appreciate your own music that much more???

Ha, ha... that last Anonymous comment was pretty damn funny!

Thank you for this!

Who cares what the neighbors and aesthetes think?

So will you feel the same for the soon to be posted Katy Perry and Rihanna?

Regarding "the line that was crossed": please remember that I am the one who draws the line...
;)

Bring on the Katy Perry and Rihanna!

I might check out the Rihanna, although I must say, even with my sweet tooth for girl pop singers with little credibility, I grabbed a Rihanna show recently and it became officially the worst show in my collection. But no matter. I didn't delete it.

I think it is hilarious the attitudes that some people have. Like when I went to see Shakira a couple years ago, some people at work couldn't believe it.

I had the same response when I posted Michael Jackson on guitars101

Thank you for posting this; flying in the face of some folks, it also shows a bit of Courage! I will listen to Britney, right after Them Crooked Vultures, and before her: Richard Thompson, Ace of Base, Butthole Surfers and Danzig (or Magma, or even Gong). My point is... all of this belongs and someone is going to love having it, even if someone else wouldn't dare dl it.

Another total TOTAL zero (i.e.: a person who is celebrated for being. Not doing. :)

Another total TOTAL zero (i.e.: a person who is celebrated for being. Not doing. :) I think that it's safe to say that most of us are past puberty. We've seen this kind of thing before.

I don't think that liking Classic Rock or Jazz or blues is mutually exclusive with liking female pop acts. Hell, I saw Bob Dylan one weekend, and Selena Gomez the very next. (took both home in lossless courtesy my little H2, of course).

Not actually a big Britney fan, but I appreciate the sentiment, and genuinely look forward to Katy Perry, and any other similar posts cropping up alongside the Zeppelin's and Stones that we love.

nothing wrong with open mindedness and expanded musical tastes, but maybe a little more early 70's James Brown to balance things out...

Keep up the good work Dave. Diversity and open mindedness are virtues our current culture sorely lacks and it's what makes this blog the best ever.
