Date: May 28, 1978
Venue: Palladium
City: New York, NY
This is an early Steve Perry era soundboard recording. Steve Perry is introduced once by Neal Schon as a new band member. Perry also introduces himself the second time "as a new member of the band". This is also one of the last shows featuring Aynsley Dunbar on drums. Withing a few weeks he would be replaced by Steve Smith on drums.
This show has a short setlist (8 tracks, 7 songs) and it may have been an FM broadcast. Anyway you want it (so to speak), it's a great show and is mixed very well where everything from vocals to drums and keyboards to guitars are equally heard.

Note Steve Smith listed as drummer, why did Aynsley leave, the real reason? Got caught 14 yo girl/
This is a better sounding copy of this show than I've heard before. Thanks Dave! Here are a few snall tidbits on this bootleg. I'm not sure how the date got circulated as 5/28/75 (possibly this was the original air date?), but this show's actual date was 3/25/1978. This was a KBFH recording that was aired over FM radio. Thanks again for the improved quality copy...
