"Phobos Complete Edition": Combined version of 2 incomplete, identical-sounding CDR versions with different tracklistings (both unknown gen audience-sourced)
Excellent sound
Duration: 85:44 min

OU: Maybe some of you remember that I once uploaded here an incomplete, but excellent-sounding CDR-sourced version of this show from Bolandos's collection. Well, recently I found another, identical-sounding version, also incomplete, but actually including the songs that were missing in Bolandos's version. Many thanks to Steve, who I got this from! So I asked my friend Phobos to create a complete version by combining Bolandos's and Steve's versions. And Phobos did it! Many, many thanks to him for creating what I want to call the "Phobos Edition"! Though the audience is a bit loud, this is in my opinion one of the best Sabbath recordings of 1989!
Another small thing: when you listen to the transition between track 201 and 202, it is slightly noticeably that a (very) small part of the recording (no music! - just in-between-song chatter) is missing before Tony Martin shouts "Mob Rules" to introduce the song. However, this was NOT done by Phobos (whose merging together of the show is not noticeable anywhere, as far as my ears can tell). Actually, these few secongs were already missing in both Bolandos's and Steve's incomplete version. The same is true for the fade-out after War Pigs (end of disk 1) and the fade-in before The Shining (start of disk 2): this edit was already present in Bolandos's version (while Steve's version doesn't include War Pigs). Anyway, in my opinion this is very far from disturbing the pleasure of listening to this great recording. ENJOY!

Takes a lot of gall to call this lineup Black Sabbath. I know it is a contractual thing but this really is pretty far afield. Could Charlie hire four new members and tour as the Rolling Stones? I guess from the Amsterdam Jagger fight he thinks he could. Anyway, just ramblings from an old man...

I would agree with you - and I may be older than you ;) - but it is still a pretty good offering for those who like this genre of rock.

Wait until you see the "Yardbirds" 2011 that I will post soon.
