OU comments: this was apparently an early preview of "swing to the right" (from 1982) because it apparently doesn't include anything from 1980's "deface the music" and has a few from "adventures in utopia" this show was recorded and broadcasted in 1981. the 3 abrupt cuts are due to a quick return from a commercial break, each is only missing a couple of seconds. other than that, this is the full broadcast. the cassette recorder used for this was not a very good one. the cassette had only been played a couple of times before digitizing. Todd saw the light. now you can hear Todd seeing the light.

Thanks. Saw Todd LAST night!! Except for the drunker tweaker it was great "Todd, cut this shit out, do Magic Dragon, we LOVE YOU TODD!" Now keep in mind, they had gotten the set list. So they a knew what songs he would do. But this drunk wanted....Anyway, Todd did almost all the songs on this list, Couldn't I Just, Real Man, Love of The Common Man,he was sober, the band tight, and he made endless Carmagedden jokes. And pulled out the chestnut, "Espresso". 63!:-(

Tight show, many cool tunes. Showcases a lot of Swing tunes. A favorite of mine. Another Chris Anderson recorded show - this guy can lay down live TR/Utopia better than anyone! This one was re-engineered by Paul Russo. He took my master tapes from FM and blended in a transcript vinyl rebroadcast of the show. The results are the whole show recreated from the best possible sources we could find. One World, Road to Utopia, Swing to the Right, Last $ on Earth, Set Me Free, Only Human, Rock Love, The Up, Love of the Common Man, Always Late, Very Last Time, Lysistrata, Back on the Street, Crazy Lady Blue, Time Heals / Healer (ooh, an all time favorite combo), I Saw the Light, Caravan, Love in Action, Last of the New Wave Riders, Love is the Answer, JOV, CIJTY. Excellent sound quality - soundstage is incredible, sounds like you're in the studio with the band, clean and clear. F. Bubnick CD.
