What's with the "Van Morriss' Son" at all those Van Morrison boots, by the way?
Van doesn't like boots posted - even for free.
WebSheriff looks for them, yada, yada, yada.
Doing something like I do is the only way to keep them (at least for a little while).

ericjmz, part of why I love this blog is Dave listens to the comments he receives and seems to try to steer his blog a bit in those directions where possible. There have been some pretty rapturous responses from all of us Van fans so I'm sure that's helped keep the Van boots coming.
Since Van has stopped using WebSheriff to police the web for boots, they have all of a sudden become available. For fans of his music, it's been like a mighty river flowing every day lately after being "dammed up" for years.
Please undestand there are many of us who have been waiting a LONG time for Van postings anywhere and each and every one is very much appreciated

ps I hope you (few) dissenters understand that, regardless of personal tastes and preferences, the only artist of comparable quality and significance to suffer from 'underposting' to the same degree is Joni Mitchell. We all understand the reasons with regard to Van, with Joni it's more of a mystery to me.
Surely if Dave can post 3 or 4 or more boots a day then he can post one Van a day if he chooses too!!

Anon 3/4 repilies - I wouldn't get too excited about the dvd, as I said in my related comment the sound is only compressed 2 ch AC3. Heaven alone knows why since it is the 4-eyed freak remaster (in opening credits/titles)and there is plenty of space on the disc to accomodate proper LPCM

I love the Van boots and am happily checking each morning for them... :) and "clicking"
I will round off the 3 Van weeks this week but I will have a few more in the weeks ahead.
