Your wait is over

I posted a question about an audio rip of an obsolete video. The question had considerable comment action (which I love).

I have decided NOT to post it...

...on this blog...

...but you can find it here:

Ummmmm...just went "there" and......it's NOT there!

Indeed, the show that you said won't be here, that you said would instead be there, is in fact not there. But that's neither here nor there, the point is: it's not there or here!

Hahaha..lol
All that debate over a Firm audio rip...

There are far more contentious uploads on qualitybootz, such as Floyd at Pompeii, which is still available officially on DVD!

Putting it over on the 'other' blog was the right thing to do. Be interesting to see if it gets pulled.

Maybe already pulled!!
As i do not see it...or im i going blind one..

If nothing else, the debate highlighted how valued an appreciated this blog is.

Good grief you mean it WAS NOT THERE. I think people genuinely believe that Dave just pushes a button and things instantly appear by magic. Things go 'up' to their various different 'locations' at varying speeds and sometimes get out of sync. This is really no more than stating the bleedin' obvious but apparently needs stating anyway. patience is a virtue by the way, as is having a bit of common sense

Glad you decided to play it safe...thanks for all the recent Neil Young. I have been enjoying them immensely. Thanks for all you do...I wonder how you are going to manage two blogs now...hmmmm

there is a timezone difference between the 2 blogs(?). it is there. really.

I actually have already decided to let that blog die a slow but peaceful death.

Thanks for the post. I never knew that that Video even made it to release as a promo. The audio for City Sirens and Live in Peace were released as B sides to the Radioactive 12" single.

Just one dude musing here, but i always thought "The Firm" was one of the plainest, worst band names ever--makes "The Police" seem creative! (not talking about the music, just the monikers ;)

Sweet. Looking forward to this one. Thanks for the redirect.

Dave you do an fantastic job and i enyoy your music blog.
Where's the problem?

Oh no Dave!

Don't let that blog die!

I already named that blog like "QualityBootz Premium" because it has the most special uploads in big files! I don't care to wait a lot in downloading instead of checking small files.

Please keep Fashionable Boot!

Thank you for your great work!

Thanks Dave. Really appreciate ALL that you do to further the listening to quality tunage.

Like, The Firm - Who cares??

Thank you for making the show available in Rapidshare instead of Hotfile.

If you kill the other blog, is there any chance of continuing the one-link Hotfile downloads here?? It's just so convenient.
Thanks for all your efforts to date!

I stand by my original contention - It's a slippery slope. All the more reason to do it *there*, not *here*! Thx!

Commander Dave,

Nice Octopus. Page, et al. sometimes have a long reach. Just ask Jesse B. Weaver.

Good move on your part.
