Very nice (VG+), ambient stereo recording of the Floyd arguably at or just before reaching their peak in performance. The sound during Atom Heart Mother deteriorates a bit (misalignement of the tape) which can also be seen in the frequency view pic I included for those interested, obviously a result of transfer issues (of which I have limited knowledge). There's a bit of distortion during the louder parts. Also, a squeeking sound from the rotating deck capstan (similar to the familiar Fillmore West April 29, 1970 recorder 1) can be heard during some quiet sections. Overall though a very enjoyable listen, up there with the best of the 1971 recordings. Roger announces Echoes (still with early lyrics) as Echoes barely audible under his breath.

I'm not one to make requests normally, but I was wondering if you have any good quality soundboard/pre-fms/fms of early-mid 1970's Yes.
It seems that Bill Bruford shows are rare.
I also get very confused about which are the best available versions of shows such as Boston 1974 and Roosevelt stadium 1976
thank you very much
start here while I search for others:

some other friends of the blog may choose to answer other question. There is much wisdom in our followers that I do not possess.
I have the Yale soundboard already, but thank you very much for your reply and help.
Thanks, this is 1971 of course
The date is August 9th, 1971.
So, shouldn't the title be "Osaka 1971"?
