It seems that the Toronto show from this first leg of the tour is one of the few where the electric set is reasonably well recorded. This is obviously a shame as this is the 'Harvest' band playing live. Anyway it's more Neil from this great artistic period. Thanks again
I've heard the Buffalo, NY 14-Jan-1973 show is good sounding, maybe you could post that one? That would be a joy to hear. Thanks for this show, too.
The electric portion is better than expected. Not perfect but well balanced and no distortion. Over all the sound quality is very acceptable.
Anon 1 adds, to my recollection Buffalo (14th) and Maple Leaf Gardens (15th) are the best 2 for sound qual for this part of the tour, I think this is because they were both commercially 'booted' Toronto is also a particularly good performance. The homecoming return of the conquering hero and all that...
