This Was The Second & last Dr Zoom & The Sonic Boom Show. The cover of the cd says it was recorded the night before at the sunshine inn , Asbury Park but this is incorrect.
This is the correct date & venue
This Is What Brucebase Says: The 2nd (and final) performance of the DR ZOOM & THE SONIC BOOM from the 1st annual "Ernie The Chicken Festival" - an excuse for an all-day, outdoor party extravaganza featuring several local bands including SUNNY JIM and ODIN. A very good quality soundboard tape of most (possibly all) of the Dr Zoom set has been in circulation since the early 1990's and can be found on the CD boot "The Bruce Springsteen Story, Vol 5 - Dr Zoom & The Sonic Boom" (E.ST). The liner notes of the bootleg incorrectly lists the audio as emanating from the previous night’s performance at The Sunshine In – however this audio is definitely from the outdoor (not indoor) Dr Zoom show. MC Kevin Connair can be heard jokingly warning the campus Ambulances (who were parked nearby) to get ready as Bruce opens the show with some screeching guitar

thanks!
Nice one. I wasn't able to pick up the E.S.T. version of this when it came out years ago.
Wonder why nobody has properly listed the first track as "It Takes A Lot To Laugh, It Takes A Train To Cry". This is clearly the Dylan song, ain't it?
